Launched in 2022, the Center for Christianity and Public Life (CCPL) is a nonpartisan nonprofit advancing the character and civics of Christianity in the United States.
Our brief was to create a brand identity that captured their belief that Christian involvement in politics does not have to center around conflict and antagonism, but instead can be a forum for love and service. The brand system we devised incorporated geometric shapes and warm colors to appeal to both sides of the aisle and could be translated from digital to print, merchandise, and environmental design for their annual “For the Good of the Public” summit.
We work with brands at every stage of their growth, but what was particularly fun about this work was that it started with a blank page. CCPL was brand new, and together with them, we got to lay the foundation for something great. Guiding them through our creative process, we helped them clear on who they are (a faith-based nonprofit working in the political and social sphere) and who they are here to serve. From that place of clarity, we knew they needed a brand identity that allowed them to tell that story across print, digital, and in their conference experience. We love getting to do this with a range of brands across industries, like Fulton & Roark, Bevel and Vibe Kayaks. That’s what a clear identity allows you to do as a brand—to show up in any arena with confidence and courage.
