Designing key art for Ligonier’s National Conference is a unique creative endeavor each year, presenting both the challenge and opportunity of evoking such themes as “Awakening”, “Standing Firm”, and “After Darkness, Light”. Each year, we seek to develop the main conference branding in a way that is expansive and visually interesting to be carried through multiple touchpoints, from the announcement of the coming year’s themes, through advertising, and ultimately all the print and digital assets needed once the conference begins.
In our branding work with faith-based nonprofits like Ligonier, where we work with them on a range of efforts, we’ve found it to be essential to help our clients think holistically and strategically across their publication design, digital strategy, and conference branding. When thinking about environmental design for a national conference, for example, it’s important to think about how every touchpoint extends the brand in delightful—and sometimes surprising—ways. We’ve worked on a range of conferences and key events for our clients, including for Ligonier and the Center for Christianity & Public Life.
