Shortly after completing a redesign for Tabletalk, during which we became closely acquainted with its overall purpose and design philosophy, Metaleap Creative gladly took the opportunity to work on each issue of Ligonier Ministries’ monthly publication, which offers a variety of theological articles, Bible readings, and editorial columns. Tabletalk’s art direction varies widely from month to month— from historical art, to bold hand-lettering, to meaningful illustrations— in order to best emphasize the theme of each issue. We maintain a close relationship with the magazine’s editors, ensuring that the design and content work together to consistently challenge and uplift the reader.
To design a publication brand that endures, we guide clients through our publication design process. We first help our clients to identify what’s compelling about their story, their history, their people, and their audience. We then design brands that build trust (both comfort and confidence) with that audience and create an emotional bond and lasting loyalty. This doesn’t happen by accident, but rather through strategic brand development that rightly integrates publication design with brand identity and digital strategy. You can see this in our work with other Christian Ministries like ByFaith, and Sola Media, and in our work with consumer brands like Fulton & Roark and Bevel.
